Whether you're a bibliophile (that means "book lover") or
have a dramatic streak, our extracurricular activities will
keep you busy!
Information

School Clubs:

Kindergarten - 2nd grade: "Early Birds" Book Club
Encourage your child to dive into reading at an early age!
The Book Club will be exploring books in fun ways that
enhance literacy and comprehension. Plus you'll get to
meet and make new friends!
Meets every other Saturday
at 9:30 a.m. at The Learning Center.
Space is limited,
so stop by our office to sign up!
Open to the community!

3rd grade and up: The Drama club
Have a flair for drama? Want to brush up those acting skills? Or maybe you've
got an interest in directing or doing back stage design? Our drama club is a year
long comprehensive program that will take you through stage production on all
levels. Our club director has years of theater background, and the program is
sure to be a rewarding experience for all its members.
Meets every Friday at
3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church across from our school.

Open to the community!

7th grade and up: The Newsletter/Yearbook Committee
What teen doesn't have an opinion? Express those opinions in a way that gets
your works published! Our monthly newsletter will feature student created works
including art, feature columns, and original stories and poetry. This club is
incorporated with our school day, no sign up necessary.

Making a Difference Programs

We believe that giving back to the community and to the world should be done
with joy! Check out all the ways our school gets involved and makes our world a
better place.

For those in need:
* Can drive for the hungry through Liberty County Manna House
* Coin drive for Hurricane Katrina victims through The American Red Cross

For children:
* Pop tab collection for Ronald McDonald House Charities to benefit children in
need of medical care

* "Letters for Santa" Drive, in partnership with Macy's, to benefit The
Make-A-Wish Foundation


For our senior citizens:
* Spreading Christmas joy through our "Caring Carols" project at Woodlands
Health Care Center in Midway, GA

For Make-A-Difference Day:
* Our canned food and bottled water drive, to benefit The American Red Cross
Disaster Relief Program


To promote literacy:
* Participation in National Library Card Month as part of our "Love My Library"
Week (September)
* Annual week long celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday (March 2)
