Noun:
a person, place, or thing. Ex: girl

Proper noun: a special person, place, or thing.
A proper noun always begins with a capital letter.
Ex: Wal-Mart is a specific store.

Singular noun: One person, place, or thing. Ex: fish

Plural noun: more than one person, place, or thing.
Most singular nouns have an -s added to them to make
them plural. If a singular noun ends in ch, sh, s, x, or z,
you will add -es.
Ex: chair = chairs; bush = bushes
